The Vieux Fort community witnessed the successful hosting of the WDC Career Fair on the 19th of September 2025 at the Independence Square. Fourteen agencies participated (presented products and services) and over 18 schools attended the activity in bright Vieux Fort sunshine. In addition, hundreds of members of the publics flocked to the square – attracted by the crowd of students, tents and of course the music.
Mayor for Vieux Fort town expressed his support for the event and hoped it signaled the start of a permanent feature on the town’s calendar.
