The WDC, on invitation from the NCF, was represented (by Programme Officer Mr P Myers) at a stakeholder engagement meeting on the 21st of January 2026, held at National Insurance Cooperation’s Conference Room, Waterfront, Castries from 10:00 am. The purpose of the meeting was to apprise stakeholders of The NFC’s six-week pilot National Parental Empowerment and Workforce Development Programme. This is an initiative organised in partnership with the St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC),
Other invited organisations at the conference included, Bank of Saint Lucia, First National Bank of Saint Lucia, Boys Training Centre, Saint Lucia Diabetic and Hypertension Association, main Sponsor LUCELEC plus others.
Each invited organisation was invited to make a short presentation explaining what their did and to outline ways in which they could collaborate with and support the NCF.
