Staff members of the the WDC were invited to the reopening ceremony of the Vieux Fort branch of the National Skill Development Centre (NSDC) which was held on Monday 23rd September 2024.
Structural and other issues had led the closure of the centre for an extended period. The necessary refurbishments having been completed and other essential measures put in place, the branch is now in a position to serve the people of the south included the WDC participants who are registered to under training courses offered by the NSDC.
Representing the WDC at that event were Programme Officer Mr Marvin Edgar and Information Technology (IT) Officer Mr Peter Myers.
