WDC Staff Trained In The Use Of The TVET Council’s Control Centre

On Wednesday, 28th July 2023, the staff of the WDC participated in a training session organised by the Saint Lucia TVET Council in the use of that organisation’s Control Centre (also known as the Control Registry). This is a comprehensive and multi-featured database which stores information on participants receiving training in TVET areas, the various approved training providers in Saint Lucia, certification assessors, business, courses and more.

Attending the session which started at 10am were WDC Director – Dr C Fevrier, WDC Programme Officer Mr M Edgar, WDC IT Officer Mr P Myers and WDC Administrative Assistant Mr D Raveneau. The Session was expertly facilitated by the TVET Council’s IT Officer – Mr R Biroo. The event was efficiently coordinated by Ms C Walsh – Data, Research & Knowledge Specialist of the TVET Council who was also in attendance.

The session was well received by the WDC Staff who gained plenty of knowledge and insight on the features of the Control Centre. There were all in unison in expressing their appreciation for Mr Biroo’s superb delivery, Ms Walsh’s organisational excellence the Saint Lucia TVET Council for hosting the event.
