On Thursday, 12th September 2024, representatives of the WDC paid a visit of the premises of the Institute Superieur De Nivieau De Beauté on Darling Road, Castries. This visit formed part of an on-going exercise by the WDC to make field trips to the various training providers who are part of our skills delivery and certification programme. Some of the objectives of such visits are (a) to see the students in their training environment (b) assess the suitability of the facility (c) engage the students and (d) have a dialogue with the administrator of the centres.
In attendance for that trip was WDC Director, Dr Claudia Fevrier, Programme Officer Mr Marvin Edgar and Information Technology (IT) Officer Mr Peter Myers. The WDC members were impressed with the facilities and the the interaction with both the trainees and the Administrator was both enjoyable and informative. It was indeed a successful and worthwhile visit.
