As a follow-up to our meeting with the youth leaders in Canaries, an exercise to register participants into our programme was held on Thursday, 23rd March 2023. Facilitating the process were Programme Officer Mr Edgar and Director Dr Fevrier. The groundwork having been done two weeks before through engagement with the Executive of the Canaries Youth and Sports Council, the event meet and even exceeded all expectations.
The objective was to register 20 participants. However such was the keen level of interest 35 young people filled in application forms. Both Mr Edgar and Dr Edgar expressed their delight with the positive outcome. It is hoped that success will be emulated in the other communities.
