On Monday, 23rd October 2023 WDC staff members – Dr Fevrier (Director), Mr Edgar (Programme Officer) and Mr Myers (IT Officer) met with officials of the the USAID sponsored Youth Resilience, Inclusion And Empowerment (Y-RIE) Programme at the Y-RIE office in the Baywalk Mall in Rodney Bay. The meeting was to explore avenues for cooperation between the two entities especially since some of their goals – empowerment of young vulnerable or at-risk young people – aligned.
Both parties emerged from the gathering believing it was a beneficial and fruitful exercise with a number of areas for collaboration identified.
