An EU team comprising he Head of Cooperation and the Programme Manager from the EU Delegation in Barbados, will be visiting the WDC on Wednesday, 20th September 2023. The EU is the funding agency for the Generation of Employment through Private Sector Development Project (GEPSED) under which the WDC Falls. The visit forms part of a EU Mission to Saint Lucia from the 18th to the 21st of September 2021.
Owing to time constraints – which resulted from the groups other field visit commitments – the delegation was unable to visit the WDC. Another visit has been scheduled for Thursday, 05 October 2023. This second visit did come to fruition and the delegates made a successful trip to the WDC where they met with the WDC staff.
