Orientation exercises organised by the NELU for learners registered via the WDC were held on Monday July 29th in Vieux Fort and Wednesday August 31st in Castries respectively. Both sessions were scheduled to begin at 9:00 am and end at 2:00 pm.
WDC IT officer Mr Peter Myers represented the WDC at both sessions while Programme Officer Mr Marvin Edgar and Director Dr Claudia Fevrier attended Castries edition.
Both sessions were successfully hosted with full participant engagement and interaction. Participants were provided with relevant information about the various courses they would be pursuing including course start dates, duration, class times, venues, course coordinators and qualifications attainable. Expectations of participants such as attendance, completion of exercises and portfolios were explained.
Based on feedback received, participants enjoyed the sessions and were keen to start their classes.
