Anse La Raye had the honour of hosting us for our first field meeting. The session was held at the village’s primary school on Thursday, 23rd March 2023 from 6:00pm. Despite a late start, the meeting was well attended with nearly the full complement of the Executive members. Programme and Information Technology Officer Mr Marvin Edgar and Mr Peter Myers respectively, were the two Workforce Development Centre representative in attendance.
Discussions were informative and productive with both group of representatives were learning from each other. Based on the success of the that meeting it appears that the strategy to engage the youth leaders in the target communities was well-founded.
